Gunner's Quoin or Coin de Mire, is a high cliffed, distinctively shaped, island that measures just 65 hectares and lies 8 km north of Mauritius. <br> Gunner's Quoin is near Ile Plate, also called "Flat Island", and is visible from many coastal resorts in the north of the island, providing great memories of the quiet blue seas of the North West lagoon.
